Find out about Kings 2025 at Guys

This year KCLEA will visit Prof Kawal Rhode (Head of Education BMEIS) in his lab on the Guy's campus to hear from him 
and Prof Oleg Aslanidi (Director of Biomedical Engineering programmes). 

They will talk about the history of Biomedical Engineering BEng/MEng programme, from its creation in 2012, 
through years of exponential expansion to become the largest undergraduate programme if its kind in Europe. 
They will discuss the teaching ethos of the programmes firmly intertwined with the research culture of the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences and their pioneering research work in the fields of medical imaging, robotics and AI. 
This culture, deeply rooted in multi-disciplinary, collaborative and inclusive approaches,may be the secret of Biomedical Engineering programmes achieving the highest student satisfaction in the National Student Survey several years in a row.
